Windows

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

When it comes to decorating your home the most important thing is the window. The wrong view can kill a gorgeous room. All of that time, effort and money is then wasted. Curtains, valances, blinds, shades, there are so many pieces and parts but which one is right for your style? Some people prefer closed curtains, some prefer opened. I guess it all boils down to what the view in your room is. 68 If you are fortunate enough to have a nice view then I would go with blinds under your curtains. If you aren’t so fortunate though, theres the option of Cell Shades. They’re beautiful, come in a variety of colors, and can make all the difference between a beautiful window treatment and a terrible view.

Best Feeling

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

It has been a long time, too long since I got to just hold my son while he sleeps. It’s the only time I get to hold him, or hug him because he is just such a busy body. I Miss that feeling. They tell you to enjoy every second of it while you can, because when they grow up its over. They’re right. I love my busy little man. I will always though, miss my snuggly little baby.

Long Distance

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

This country really is a melting pot. So many of us have relatives all over the world. Especially with the ongoing war, we have relatives in the military or doing humanitarian aide that we seldom get to speak with due to cost. The long distance charges on land lines and cell phones can be insane. For those of us struggling to keep in touch with our loved ones there are options. Theres email, instant messaging but those options are so impersonal. It’s like speaking to a stranger. Theres always the option of international calling cards. They can earn cash back on your purchase which gives you even more minutes to spend with your loved ones.

I hate tv

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

I realize that that is a complete lie but really.. I hate tv and love it at the same time. I get all into a show, some sort of drama like Boston legal. I don’t care about the characters. It’s the cases. The people involved with them. I always wonder what happened to the people in the stories. It’s silly I know but some of themĀ  really tug at your heart andĀ  you just HAVE to know what happened.

Binoculars

Friday, December 21st, 2007

A lot of us have hobbies involve watching animals. There are some species of bugs and birds that you can only see late at night. The problem is, you can’t really see them at night. 35 To see those you need something with night vision. What about these really nice night vision binoculars. The are well made, built to last and incredibly affordable. I have seen them at sporting good stores for twice that price. Think about all of the birds, bugs, and other wild life you’ll be able to study now that you can see them in their natural environment at night. Your hobby just got a whole lot more enjoyable.

Blown Away

Friday, December 21st, 2007

I had a customer today who told me that he couldn’t read or write. I was taken aback. I didn’t think that in America we had people in that type of situation. He lives in Indiana, and he worked in the fields all of his life. I was amazed because he seemed like a very intelligent man but he couldn’t read.

Bird Watching?

Friday, December 21st, 2007

If your hobby involves gazing I have a nice resource for you. Cameras, Binoculars and telescopes can be horribly expensive. Especially with all of the new technology we have coming out these days. I would recomend purchasing something used. Most of the time the equipment is almost brand new and its much more affordable than buying it new. If you need some equipment for your hobby spend some time browsing these used cameras for sale. Some of the products even still have a warranty. Christmas is here, why not treat yourself to something that you will really enjoy? Let yourself have that new camera, binoculars, or telescope you’ve been drooling over. At this prices, you would be a fool not to!

Rainy Day

Friday, December 21st, 2007

I guess its fitting that I sort of have the blues today because it’s been pouring down rain. Normally I like rainy days but I had a ton of errands to run so I don’t like them today. Driving on the slippery roads is scary. I think I’m going to watch one of my favorite movies to cheer myself up.

Vacation Time!

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Winter is just too darn cold. I don’t like wearing layers. I would love to vacation some where warm but this time of year the hotels are all crowded and there isn’t very much privacy. Not to mention the rooms get kind of nasty when the hotel staff is over worked. At the moment I am looking into vacation homes close to Disney World. You can rent a home for a week or so and not have to deal with all of the hotel drama. It makes vacationing even more fun because you don’t have to make your kids act civilized around the other guests. You can all act like hooligans in the privacy of your own vacation home and have a blast! Thats how vacations were meant to be.

People Should Be More Straight Forward

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

Have you ever met someone new, and then gotten all excited because you thought you had a new friend? That happened to me recently. We had this amazing conversation about people, and life, and all sorts of things. Then we exchanged numbers so we could hang out some time and he never called. I was really excited. I wish people would be up front about things like that instead of lying to you and having you look forward to things that don’t ever happen.
