Blown Away

Friday, December 21st, 2007

I had a customer today who told me that he couldn’t read or write. I was taken aback. I didn’t think that in America we had people in that type of situation. He lives in Indiana, and he worked in the fields all of his life. I was amazed because he seemed like a very intelligent man but he couldn’t read.

Bird Watching?

If your hobby involves gazing I have a nice resource for you. Cameras, Binoculars and telescopes can be horribly expensive. Especially with all of the new technology we have coming out these days. I would recomend purchasing something used. Most of the time the equipment is almost brand new and its much more affordable than buying it new. If you need some equipment for your hobby spend some time browsing these used cameras for sale. Some of the products even still have a warranty. Christmas is here, why not treat yourself to something that you will really enjoy? Let yourself have that new camera, binoculars, or telescope you’ve been drooling over. At this prices, you would be a fool not to!

Rainy Day

Friday, December 21st, 2007

I guess its fitting that I sort of have the blues today because it’s been pouring down rain. Normally I like rainy days but I had a ton of errands to run so I don’t like them today. Driving on the slippery roads is scary. I think I’m going to watch one of my favorite movies to cheer myself up.

Vacation Time!

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Winter is just too darn cold. I don’t like wearing layers. I would love to vacation some where warm but this time of year the hotels are all crowded and there isn’t very much privacy. Not to mention the rooms get kind of nasty when the hotel staff is over worked. At the moment I am looking into vacation homes close to Disney World. You can rent a home for a week or so and not have to deal with all of the hotel drama. It makes vacationing even more fun because you don’t have to make your kids act civilized around the other guests. You can all act like hooligans in the privacy of your own vacation home and have a blast! Thats how vacations were meant to be.

People Should Be More Straight Forward

Have you ever met someone new, and then gotten all excited because you thought you had a new friend? That happened to me recently. We had this amazing conversation about people, and life, and all sorts of things. Then we exchanged numbers so we could hang out some time and he never called. I was really excited. I wish people would be up front about things like that instead of lying to you and having you look forward to things that don’t ever happen.
