Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

The best skateboards are the ones you put together with parts. A lot of times building your own can be much more costly than buying the pre-built boards but it is very much worth the investment. Well now there is a great store online that has all of the parts that you need to build your own skate boards for a fraction of the price of most retail stores. Warehouseskateboards.com offers everything you need to make your skateboard complete. Whether you are looking for a whole board or just some new wheels or accessories you can find it here and for less than you would find it any where else.

Spinning things

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

My son has a new hobby. No matter what the object is, he likes to spin it like a top. If he sees something circular he will walk, crawl, run, climb, do back flips and beg until he gets it. As soon as it’s in his hands, hes on all fours spinning his toy around and a round. I hope its a phase that passes soon. None of our dishes are safe!

Interesting article

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

I was just reading a news article over at Mortgages UK, about how their banks cut their interest rates, just like the federal government cut ours here in the United States. Unlike our rates though, the ones in the United Kingdom rose, which actually made the situation worse. Luckily for those in the UK there will be another interest rate cut soon, which would bring theirs down to 4.5$ and hopefully do a lot of good for their economy. In a way I am relieved to see that United States of America is not the only country with economical woes, but at the same time it saddens me that the banks are so money hungry, that this is allowed to happen.

Mom and pop service

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

There is no replacement for the treatment that you get at the little mom and pop businesses. They are always there ready and waiting with a smile on their face. It’s not like most businesses now a days where it’ so commercialized that they lose sight of the reason they are still around. The customers. I wish that the economy made it easier for those mom and pop shops to thrive
