I am still laughing at the Aussie comedians who dressed one guy up as Osama Bin Laden and drove a 3 car motorcade past multiple checkpoints without being stopped and right into an APEC compound. I mean , wheres the security??

Amusing, and obviously the police and security forces are greatly embarrassed. They werent even stopped until they got within a few meters of the building that Bush himself was in.

They were frisked and the fake beard was taken away. Two of the cast and several of the support crew were detained. The local police chief was furious and did not find the joke funny.

No, in fact you will not explode if you eat Pop Rocks and drink quantities of soda. It was a myth that people thought that. There is simply not enough carbon dioxide produced.

Another myth popular at that time was that a car equipped with rockets would reach a speed of about 300 miles and hour and become airborne. tests were done to determine how realistic that is  and they were unable to reach 300 miles per hour and the car did not get airborne.

Still it is interesting.
